The LGS obtains grants and donations to digitize past newspapers from Linn County. The images are available on computers in the Linn Research Room. Volunteers are busy indexing and dating the images.

Continue reading →Society members have contributed and aided in the compiling Oregon Trail families who reached the Oregon Territory and settled on donation land claims in Linn County. The series consists of 40 volumes and includes approximately 45,000 names.
