  Obituary: Albany Democrat Herald, 5 Jun 2002. of Lebanon. died at Salem Hospital. one of 18 children of James and Maude (Nail) McGrew. married Vale Jane Vandivier on Labor Day in 1935 in Terre Haute. Moved to Scio in the 1950s and to Lebanon in 2000. Mrs. McGrew died in 1988. served in the Navy during World War II. Surviving are children Kathleen McGrew, Milissa McGrew Waskom, Alan McGrew, Douglas McGrew and Harlan McGrew Hicks.
